Course Overview

The Seven Pillars to Church Plant Program is a comprehensive four-week intensive training designed to equip visionary leaders with the theological, administrative, and strategic tools needed to plant, grow, and manage thriving churches. Drawing from both biblical foundations and best practices in organizational development, this course is rooted in a framework of seven critical pillars of church planting: Purpose, Proposition, Performance, Partnership, Promotion, Property, and Perpetuation.

Each participant will complete the program with a ready-to-launch turnkey church plant kit, including legal setup, marketing assets, ministry team structure, building plans, and a complete operations manual.

Prerequisites

Weekly Course Outline & Daily Schedule

Each week includes two sessions:


Week 1: Pillar of Purpose & Proposition

Day 1: Personal Purpose & Providential Calling

  • Understanding the Call to Church Planting

  • Spiritual Discernment and Biblical Foundation

  • Writing Your Ministry Vision and Mission

Day 2: Proposition – Your Message, Model & Ministry

  • Defining your theological identity (Apostolic, Evangelical, Charismatic, etc.)

  • Church service model (house church, launch large, hybrid, mobile)

  • Planning your first year of sermons and services


Week 2: Pillar of Performance & Partnership

Day 1: Performance – People and Processes

  • Staffing and volunteer structure

  • SOPs for worship, children’s ministry, media, admin

  • Conflict resolution and HR practices

Day 2: Partnership – Providers and Patrons

  • Building your ministry team

  • Recruiting intercessors, advisors, and donors

  • Partnerships with other churches and mission agencies


Week 3: Pillar of Promotion & Property

Day 1: Promotion – Presence and Preeminence

  • Designing your logo, website, and flyers

  • Social media, livestreaming, podcasting strategies

  • Launch Sunday campaign planning

Day 2: Property – Building, Ergonomics and Protection

  • Securing your location and negotiating rental agreements

  • Legal protection, insurance, child safety, copyright and music licensing


Week 4: Pillar of Profit & Perpetuation

Day 1: Profit – Stewardship, Financial Leverage & Growth

  • Tithes, offerings, donor systems, budget templates

  • Building fund, capital campaigns, grants

  • Leveraging church income for mission and staff support

Day 2: Perpetuation – Succession, Legacy, and Global Impact

  • Multiplying churches, mentorship models

  • Board governance and succession planning

  • Long-term sustainability, retirement, and estate planning for ministry leaders


Program Completion & Next Steps

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be invited to join the ISBF Church Planters Network. Ongoing mentorship, alumni support, and additional ministry leadership certifications are available.
