Explore the difference between consumers and wealth builders. Understand how mindset affects money habits and long-term outcomes. - 0:45 – 1:30: Module 2 – Understanding Asset Classes
Breakdown of tangible and intangible assets: real estate, businesses, stocks, intellectual property, precious metals, and more. - 1:30 – 2:00: Module 3 – Assets vs. Liabilities
Learn how to identify and classify what adds to or subtracts from your wealth. Debunk common myths about “good debt.” - 2:00 – 2:30: Module 4 – Income, Savings, and Asset Funding
Discover how to turn a budget surplus into capital for asset acquisition—even on modest income. - 2:30 – 3:00: Module 5 – Personal Asset Inventory
Hands-on session: each participant begins identifying current and potential assets in their life.
Homework:
Complete your asset inventory worksheet. Review your current financial obligations and begin planning what assets you’d like to build.
DAY 2 – ASSET PLANNING & WEALTH STRATEGIES

Introduction to property acquisition (residential, rental, land) and small business development as sustainable wealth tools. - 1:00 – 1:30: Module 7 – Investing in Paper Assets and Retirement Vehicles
Explore basic stock market investment, index funds, IRAs, 401(k)s, and other paper asset paths to wealth. - 1:30 – 2:00: Module 8 – Intellectual Property and Digital Assets
Understand how content creation, books, online courses, and trademarks can become lasting income-generating assets. - 2:00 – 2:30: Module 9 – Creating Your Asset Plan
Participants develop a personal action plan to start or expand their asset base. - 2:30 – 3:00: Module 10 – Net Worth Tracking and Accountability
Learn how to use software or tools to track assets and liabilities, update regularly, and set SMART goals for growth.
Final Activity:
Participants present their first draft asset growth plan. Certificates are issued, and optional coaching packages are introduced.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Upon full attendance and submission of the final asset plan, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion. The certificate is jointly issued by the ISBF Institute and the Financial Power Institute and may be used toward credit in the broader Easy Steps financial education track.
